Steps to Remediate

  1. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections

  2. By default, leaving the 'Instance' config field in the inspector template will prompt the inspector to run the inspection against the default SQL Server instance on the host (e.g. MSSQLSERVER, SQLEXPRESS, etc.). If you wish to inspect this instance, ensure that the 'Instance' field is left empty
