IT Glue | General Inspector Failure due to: “External integration setup issue encountered”

Problem: On a rare occasion, you may see Inspectors in a failed status with the following error: “External integration setup issue encountered”. However, these inspections do land successfully in your Liongard platform. The error relates to an issue pushing the inspection data to your IT Glue integration.

Steps to Resolution

  1. Identify the Environment the inspection is failing for

  2. Navigate to the Map Orgs tab on the IT Glue integration page.

  3. Find the Environment in question in the list, you should find an entry with a "!"

  4. Click the “Unmap” button to the right of the environment.

  5. Find the same entry in the list and click the “Map” button. Make sure that the correct IT Glue Environment is selected in the “IT Glue Org Name” column

  6. Re-run the Inspector and verify it lands competed

Outcome: The inspector error should be resolved now and data should flow into your ITG integration as expected.
