Problem:

N-Central inspectors may occasionally fail with the following error:
“Problem calling https://domain.com/dms2/services2/ServerEI2”. This issue is typically caused by an expired password.

Steps to Resolution:

  1. Update Your N-Central Liongard Account Password:
    Even if the account is API-only, the password likely needs to be updated.

  2. Retry the Liongard Inspection:
    After updating the password, run the Liongard inspection again.

  3. If the Inspector Continues to Fail, Follow These Steps:

    1. Regenerate Your N-Central API Key:
      Generate a new API key within N-Central.

    2. Apply the New API Key to Your Liongard Inspector:
      Update the Liongard inspector with the new API key.

Outcome:

The inspection should now complete successfully.

Alternative Solutions:

  • Contact N-Central Support:
    If the problem persists, contact N-Central support to retrieve authentication logs.

    • If the issue is not related to an expired password, please inform our support team for further assistance.
