What Happened?
On January 2, 2025, a performance optimization effort inadvertently impacted our ability to detect and alert on configuration changes across all inspectors. Upon discovery, it has been resolved with a hotfix issued on January 15, 2025.
What We’re Doing About It:
To prevent this from happening again and to improve our platform, we’ve taken several actions:
Released a hotfix to address the issue immediately.
Expanded automated testing to catch potential issues earlier in the development process.
Introduced enhanced observability measures to enable quicker detection of potential issues moving forward.
How Does This Impact You?
While change detections were not triggered in the affected period, the historical metric values associated with those detections remain accessible within your Liongard instance. This means that you can still reference and compare this data across inspectors to maintain visibility into key configuration changes.
Post hotfix, change detection operation has resumed as normal, with new detections comparing values captured after the hotfix deployment. This allows you to seamlessly monitor changes from the point of resolution.
If you have concerns about potential impacts during the affected period, we are here to help.
